Tap and Modern split into separate 30-minute classes. Rhythm, technique and self-expression take centre stage.
Primary Tap + Modern is where things start to get really exciting. Students learn longer sequences, build more precise technique, and are encouraged to improvise — drawing on everything they've picked up so far.
Classes follow the prestigious ISTD syllabus, combining the rhythm and footwork of Tap with the high-energy, expressive movement of Modern. After 3–4 terms, students have the option of taking their first ISTD exam — a brilliant confidence milestone, taken with their teacher present.
It's a busy, joyful 45 minutes.

Arrive, meet Jo or Alice, and let your child dive in. No pressure, no commitment. We have tap and ballet shoes available at the hall for your trial.
- 3Sign up
If they love it (they will), register online and we'll get them set up on a monthly plan.
Fees
Starting mid-term? Your first payment covers any classes in the current month, then you move onto the standard monthly plan from the 1st.
